Her grandmother taught dance there and Samantha was one of Naomi Campbell's best friends (they were in the same year).

YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW... As a teenager Samantha and Naomi liked to hang out in a Wimbledon nightclub. Later, Samantha bought a flat in Brixton Hill. In the book "Grange Hill - The Official Companion" (1988), Samantha said she would like to return to Grange Hill as a teacher. So come on BBC, make it happen! WHERE IS SHE NOW? Samantha has done a lot of dancing work since leaving Grange Hill and was seen with various bands on Top Of The Pops. Around six years ago she was also a cheerleader with a London troupe. Italia Conti claims Samantha has been working in the USA, but they don't know what doing. She now works for the PR department of BT Cellnet in Leeds, and was spotted in Runcorn manning a Cellnet stall by GH Online reader Mark Whiteside, where she was demonstrating an e-mail system. Yet when asked, Samantha denied ever having starred in Grange Hill!
