Martino was treading the boards long before Grange Hill. And it was only natural he should move onto another Phil Redmond show...
  FAMILY: As his name suggests, Martino is half-Italian. He was born in Hampshire, however, and his father owns a restaurant there. He now lives in Liverpool close to where Hollyoaks is filmed, having previously lived in Battersea.

TRAINING: Martino attended the Italia Conti Theatre school in London, which has produced several other Grange Hill stars.
