STRANGE BUT TRUE: Julie's sister Clare originally auditioned for the part of Natalie Stevens in Grange Hill. Strangely enough, Julie auditioned for the role of Chrissy Mainwaring - this might have caused casting problems when it came to introducing Natasha Stevens a few years later!
