SIMILARITIES TO SCREEN PERSONA: Joshua told No.1 Magazine in 1988 that he couldn't stand Mauler, and that he was a real moron. If Mauler and Joshua came face to face, they'd have ended up killing each other! YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW... Joshua was worried how Mauler McCaul would be perceived by the Grange Hill audience when he joined the show, especially with all the flak Mark Savage took for playing Gripper. But he needn't have worried - Mauler and his gridiron crew provided the series with lots of great comedy compared to Gripper's thuggery. WHERE IS HE NOW...? Joshua trained at Italia Conti and according to the web site Friends Reunited, he's now teaching drama and has also been to New Zealand.
