GRANGE
HILL'S EXTERIOR SET at Elstree was demolished earlier this
week. Bulldozers moved in to destroy the fake school entrance and
gates, which had been at the back of Neptune House since 1989. GH
writer Si Spencer, currently working on EastEnders, witnessed the
sad scenes. "We all knew it was coming but it was still a shock",

GRANGE
HILL'S NEW SCHOOL BADGE has been axed - after just one year!
The mint-green logo (right) replaced the familiar purple and yellow
design in Series 25. However, recent behind-the-scenes footage on
CBBC reveals Grange Hill has reverted to the old design.
CBBC recently held a competition
to win a backstage pass to Grange Hill, and showed the winner on the
set at Mersey TV.
