A BRIEF GUIDE TO GRANGE HILL'S 25TH SERIES!
Oh dear! The current series of GRANGE HILL has now ended. This wasn't just any new series though - it was Grange Hill's 25th season. Silver Jubilee already!
There was a brand new look to Grange Hill for 2002. We said goodbye to the familiar yellow and purple school badge; in its place is a new mint-green logo and uniform modelled here by Year 8. It was designed by Max in the uniform competition. What's more, the school itself had a lick of paint - you won't believe the difference!
Six new characters joined the regulars; strict new deputy head Stephen Deverill (below) tightened discipline and put a few noses out of joint. But there was more to Mr Deverill than
meets they eye. Miss Fraser, meanwhile, was engaged to Michael (Mrs Holmes' son). As Emily found out, hell hath no fury like a jealous mother!
If you thought Maddie was wild, wait till you meet her mum Suzie! She was only young when she had Maddie, and was fairly irresponsible as you can imagine. Wow! Another girl and her mum central to a heart-rending storyline was Amy.
Matt, Tom and Lisa join the sixth form, but the lads still have clouds hanging over them. Matt was recovering from cancer and Tom was in mourning for his relationship with Leah. There was also heartbreak for Briony, resulting in a downward spiral for the usually together pupil.
And just when you thought you'd seen the last of him, bad boy Ozzie is back! He's now running the local nightclub. Meanwhile, Danny and Vikki finally get it together, but does their happiness last? Not if Ozzie's got anything to do with it. All this and plenty more laughter, tears and fun in GRANGE HILL Series 25. Man, have you missed out!
